Vergenoeg Hike
Vergenoeg farm is situated on the slopes of the Magaliesberg overlooking the Skeerpoort valley and the Hartbeespoortdam in the North West Province. Due to it's diverse surroundings and spectacular views, Vergenoeg has always been a popular hiking destination amongst advanced hikers. The walk along the ridge at the the top offers a vulture's view of the whole valley below. Our well marked trails will take you on an adventure although a certain level of fitness will be required to complete the full route, as a reward you will be provided with a privileged view of the endangered Cape Vulture's as they launch themselves from the cliffs into the thermals.
